Visiting Student

The Visiting Student modality allows individuals to take up to 12 credits (equivalent to 4 quarterly courses) from the Master’s or Professional Doctorate Program in Economics at FGV EPPG, with a limit of one course per quarter, without being formally enrolled in the full program.

If the student later joins the Master’s or Professional Doctorate Program at FGV EPPG, they may request the transfer of credits from the courses in which they were approved, provided that no more than five years have passed since the completion of the course for which credit transfer is being requested.

Those who wish to take courses as Visiting Students will pay only for the courses they attend. If they later apply for and are accepted into the Master’s or Doctorate Program to become regular students, they may request full credit transfer for the courses in which they were approved, as long as no more than five (5) years have passed since the completion of the course for which the transfer is requested.

The visiting student modality is ideal, and recommended, for those who wish to pursue the professional master’s program but are currently in a personal or professional situation that does not allow the necessary commitment to the full program.
