Message from the Dean
It is with great pleasure that we present the School of Public Policy and Government of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV EPPG). The School was created in Brasília in an effort by FGV to expand its physical presence in the country's political center and better enable it to fulfill its mission of contributing to Brazil's development.
FGV EPPG's mission is to continually strive to ensure that Brazil is better governed, more developed, and more just for all its citizens. Its vision is to be the leading global academic reference on governance in emerging countries, both for countries in the North and the South.
FGV EPPG considers diversity one of the main strengths of its education, fostering in its students the internal transformation that allows them to see in their colleagues, friends, and acquaintances the virtues that each of us lacks. It seeks to chart a path never designed, whose experimental, recursive, and evolutionary process achieves collective excellence that promotes the evolution of governance in Brazil and the world.

Straight from the country's capital, Brasília, our commitment is to train highly qualified professionals, true experts in Public Administration; Public Policies and Government; and Economics.
We carry out academic and applied research. It is part of our role to provide information, knowledge and new ideas so that the government can improve its decisions and increase the efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency of its actions. That is how we operate for the development of Brazil.
We recruit talents giving them a deep education and making them capable of thinking about the future. Through this work, we invest in education and the generation of knowledge, in training and research for national development.

Story
The Getulio Vargas Foundation's School of Public Policy and Government (FGV EPPG) appears in Brasilia, in the country's political epicenter, to expand FGV's role in education, recognizing the need for greater diversification of the institution's student body, leaving the South and Southeast axis, in addition to the need for greater contact with sectors of the federal government.
The initiative comes from the holders of the School of Economics of São Paulo (FGV EESP) and the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE) in Rio de Janeiro.
FGV EPPG aims to form a group of qualified professionals to think and positively impact the future of Brazil. These professionals must propose innovative solutions to national problems and be able to prioritize the countless demands of different segments of Brazilian society.
The professionals trained by FGV EPPG will have mastery of Social Sciences and Politics so that government actions can effectively achieve society's goals, in addition to having access to areas of Public Administration and Economics so that they are able to analyze Public Policy in a broad way.

Technological Resources
- Internet access with coverage throughout the school;

- Network available to teachers, staff, students and visitors;
- Classrooms and auditoriums equipped with electronic screens, projection cannons and state-of-the-art computers;
- Air-conditioned laboratories with excellent lighting, cleanliness, acoustics and accessibility;
- Computers, desktop type, connected to broadband internet;
- Reversible classroom laboratory for satellite transmissions;
- Environment equipped with multimedia projector, projection screen, audio equipment, no break, computer for teacher’s use and wi-fi;
- Space adapted for the mobility of students with disabilities;
- Programs installed on all computers to assist the visually impaired;
- Study and support room with internet access and printer;
- Laboratory open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 9:30 pm, and Saturday, from 8:30 am to 12 pm.
Library
- Collection with more than 4 thousand titles and more than 7 thousand physical copies among books, periodicals and other publications available;
- Access to the FGV Digital Library and the FGV Library System;
- Equipped environment at your disposal and much more.
